The Little Moments Project

An informative exploration of the importance of life moments and the impact they have in our lives.

The Little Moments Project was created to explore the idea of different types of life moments and the impact they have on our happiness and sense of identity. The project is a two-part experience built from self-submitted stories, extensive research, and pre-exisiting notions of memory, happiness, and living in the moment. First is an educational animated video featuring the history, research, and perceptions of life moments. Next is a gallery of 35 animated stories of real people’s little moments to help reinforce the ideas from the video. The style is simple to help make it easier to convey the ideas, but still vibrant to represent the diversity of stories and experiences being portrayed.

The Little Moments Project is a two part exploration and celebration of the little moments in life. This video is the first part, and it gives a spotlight to why these moments are so important to who we are, and gives a history of why society and culture adds pressure to our lives to always feel happy. The second part is a gallery of stories submitted by real people of their own little moments. Through these stories, people can realize that little moments truly do come in all different types, and they can start to change their own mindset to make it easier for them to appreciate their own little moments.
